Using non Microsoft phone systems with CRM

Hello,

My company has MS CRM and wants to use click to dial with our non-Microsoft phone system.

Currently when we click a telephone number in a contact record the system seems to want to launch Skype which is not compatible with our phone system.

Is it possible to set up CRM so that it uses "tel:" hyperlinks rather than trying to launch Skype? - the html code required is shown below.

If tel: hyperlinks cannot be used are there any alternative click to dial options? The phone system supports TAPI but I would rather use tel: if possible.
